Bills QB Josh Allen injury update following loss to Jets

During the Buffalo Bills’ Week 9 loss to the New York Jets, their injury situation deteriorated.

Making matters even more concerning is the addition of Josh Allen to that list.

Allen fumbled late in the 20-17 outcome when New York pass rusher Bryce Huff knocked the ball out of his fingers. Allen underthrew his target on the subsequent play while making a gesture with his throwing arm.

Positively, Allen did manage to deliver an incomplete pass to receiver Gabe Davis 50 yards down the field to end the game, but even that is a good indicator for his health.

Allen acknowledged that something was wrong with his arm, but he played it down.

Through a video conference, Allen remarked, “I feel some small pain, but I’ll get through it.”

Keep an eye on the injury list during the following week leading up to Buffalo’s next game against the Minnesota Vikings (7-1). Allen will be noted there if his arm needs to be treated in any way.

In the event that Allen is unable to play, Case Keenum would take his place. Keenum once represented the Vikings.
