Blazers Guard Damian Lillard injury report update

As their road trip comes to an end, the Portland Trail Blazers are getting a little bit healthier.

Damian Lillard, an All-Star point guard, has been out for two weeks with a calf strain and has been taken off the Blazers injury list.

Tomorrow night’s game against the Dallas Mavericks will mark Lillard’s return to the lineup for the Blazers, who are aiming to finish 5-1 on a difficult six-game trip.

The 32-year-old sustained the injury on October 26 against the Miami Heat and missed five games, including those against the Houston Rockets, Memphis Grizzlies, Phoenix Suns (twice), and New Orleans Pelicans.

Prior to sitting out last night’s game against the Pelicans, he did come back to play on Monday and Wednesday against the Heat and Charlotte Hornets, respectively.

Lillard averages 28.6 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 5.1 assists per game this season. This season, Lillard has played in six games for the Blazers, and they are 6-1.

With a 9-3 record, the Blazers are currently ranked second in the Western Conference. In their game against the Mavericks tomorrow night, they’ll try to get to ten victories. The game is set to begin at 5:30.
