After defeating their division rival Cincinnati Bengals in Week 9, the Cleveland Browns entered their bye week in good spirits. David Njoku and Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah were two players who stood to gain from the week off as Cleveland had the opportunity to become healthier for the remainder of the season.
Njoku has been sidelined since Week 7 due to a high ankle sprain. It was hoped that he would be able to play in Week 10’s matchup against the Miami Dolphins after taking a break during the bye week, but it appears that neither player is quite ready to play again as he was ruled out of the game on Friday.
Tight end David Njoku has an ankle injury and won’t play on Sunday. After getting hurt on October 23 against the Ravens, this will be the player’s second straight missed game. Both, according to coach Kevin Stefanski, have avoided setbacks. David Njoku is attempting to return but wasn’t yet prepared.
