Tennessee Titans RB Derrick Henry Injury update

  • Sports

Due to a foot issue, Henry (who was limited on Wednesday) missed practice on Thursday but participated fully on Friday to wrap up the week. The fact that Henry has been taken off the injury report and will play on Sunday is what important, despite the fact that his practice statuses have undoubtedly fluctuated. He is currently a weekly high-end RB1.

The last time we saw Tennessee Titans running back Derrick Henry on the field, it seemed like virtually the entire season had passed. The talented RB has been sidelined since Week 8 after breaking his fifth metatarsal in his foot on November 2. Without the All-Pro in their backfield, the Titans offense has simply not been the same.

Nothing would make fantasy managers happier than to wake up and discover a healthy Henry just in time for the Weeks 16 and 17 drive for the fantasy championship. The moment they lost one of the NFL’s most dominant powers, many fantasy teams fell down the standings.

Will Derrick Henry be back this season given that most leagues have started their fantasy playoffs? If so, when should he return? Let’s search for any King Henry rehabilitation developments.

Will Derrick Henry Return This Season?
Derrick However, unless your fantasy championship week falls in Week 18, it’s unlikely that Henry will be able to help the rest of the way. Fantasy managers should have him stowed just in case.

Henry should be back for the postseason, which is fantastic news for the Titans, who should make the playoffs unless something terrible happens in these upcoming three weeks. Without Henry (and A.J. Brown), Tennessee’s offense isn’t very frightening right now, but if Henry were to return in January, the Titans would become a serious force.

Henry would have been the front-runner for NFL MVP if he hadn’t suffered an injury early this season. With 937 yards and 10 rushing touchdowns on 219 runs after missing all this time, he is still the RB8 in fantasy scoring. His 18 receptions for 154 yards add to his total.
