Who plays on ‘Monday Night Football’ tonight?

The only unbeaten team in the NFL is playing in prime time for the second straight week. The Eagles will play on “Monday Night Football” this time around rather than on Thursday night.

At the halfway point of the season, the Eagles have an 8-0 record and will want to extend that streak for one more week. The good news is that they have already easily defeated their opponent this season, a divisional foe.

The Commanders are those people. Washington had a rough start in 2022, but its performance has recently improved. Before falling to the Vikings in Week 9, it had a three-game winning streak, and the Commanders came incredibly close to defeating Minnesota. Late in the game, they had a 10-point lead before a few crucial mistakes let Minnesota get back into the game.

The Commanders want to win so that some of the current controversy surrounding their squad can be put to rest. But can the Eagles be defeated? On Monday, Washington will have to try to find out.

Before ESPN’s “Monday Night Football” broadcast, here is all you need to know about the Eagles vs. Commanders game.

Who plays on ‘Monday Night Football’ tonight?
Matchup: Commanders at Eagles
Location: Lincoln Financial Field, Philadelphia
The Eagles are set to host the Commanders in Week 10 as Philadelphia looks to keep its undefeated season going.

The Eagles (8-0) are perhaps the finest club in the NFL so far in 2022. Their defense has been solid, and they have a highly effective offense lead by MVP candidate Jalen Hurts, along with A.J. Brown, Dallas Goedert, and Miles Sanders. Philadelphia should be prepared for a confrontation with its division rival under the leadership of Nick Sirianni, who is demonstrating why he is one of the NFL’s top coaches.

Speaking of the Commanders, despite having Taylor Heinicke at quarterback instead of Carson Wentz, Washington has a 4-5 record in nine games but has been very competitive.
